In sickness and in health

Ok, so just to dig this blog from it's early grave and shake it up a bit, I am back. For now. If you are one of the million other people who start blogs and give up because certainly no one is reading them, then you understand. If you are one of those few who actually get read, screw you for being interesting.

Anyways, I'm unearthing it for only one reason really and that is because my girlfriend and my brother are both booting up blogs of their own. This will be the only thing ensuring that I keep this one alive, because at least 2 people will read it. Yay for being popular.

So I am sick, as both of you readers know. And it's kinda interesting to be sick. For the first time I've really focused on what I am feeling. Studying my brain's slowed activity and trying to put some sense into the feeling it puts me in. It's almost like being under the effect of illicit drugs, except that you are in a certain amount of discomfort. But if I focus enough on just the state of mind rather than any of the pain or sick feeling that I experience, it's a funny kind of enjoyable thing. From what I can gather, the slowed brain activity is due to my brain excreting certain chemicals, perhaps endorphins, to dull the pain and try to kill whatever is ailing me. In this sense getting sick is like a natural high, if you ignore the sore throat and the runny nose. So I am having an alright time, just don't ask me to do any math equations.

I am also starting to crank up photoshop again. Expect comics in the near future or never. I am basically just using google images and slapping random dudes and dudettes into mildly amusing situations. I did one in response to my brother's blog post involving an over-crisp carrot and it's effect on ingestion.

Anyways, all these words are making me weary. To continue my trend set by my other two blog posts I will finish this off with a haiku on sickness:

I feel sick today
But if I ignore the bad
It all seems okay

Some blogs/bloggers worth mentioning:
My beautiful girlfriend: Little Commentaries
My half-ridiculous full-brother: The Noun That Verbed

Thanks for reading, this has been a blargh.

Reader number one commenting. Hopefully this works better than when I tried to comment on John's.

I take offence to your "half-ridiculous" comment. I am half-assed but full-ridiculous.

Also Miss Cassie: My blog does not show anyones comments so you are not alone.
